JD Salinger Blog

I believe that a new novel could have a very positive impact to a reader. The reader would love his multiple writing styles and his various characters with alot of developement in each. Writers on the other hand would probably not like a new novel because they don't want to be showed up so to speak. All in all a new novel from him would be very good.

    Randall you make some good points and i agree with you. I also enjoy Salingers characters and as for other writers maybe they will be inspired to write rather than be scared to be showed up.

    I would tend to agree that a new Salinger novel would both be affective and positive in our literary society. Hard to speculate what impact the specific characters from a no exsistent book would have on our culture directly, but you thoughts and ideas are good here.
